Inference Health

Care should
not wait on administration.

Inference Health exists to give healthcare teams the operational capacity to move every patient forward.

Healthcare is held together by people doing more work than anyone sees.

Behind every appointment, referral, intake, and follow-up is a chain of documents, phone calls, messages, decisions, and handoffs. When that chain works, care moves. When it breaks, patients wait and teams absorb the cost.

This work is often called administrative, as though it sits outside care. It does not. It shapes whether a patient gets an answer, whether the right information is available, whether a referral reaches its destination, and whether the next step happens at all. Operations are part of the patient experience.

Healthcare software has digitized many surfaces without solving the work underneath. Teams still move information between inboxes, re-enter data, reconcile trackers, repeat conversations, and carry critical context in their heads. Too often, technology gives people another place to look instead of helping them reach an end state.

We believe software should do more than record the work.

It should help finish it.

AI agents create a new opportunity. They can understand incoming information, carry context across steps, take configured actions, reach patients on familiar channels, and keep working until a task is complete or a person needs to step in.

But capability alone is not enough. Healthcare technology must earn its place. Its actions should be visible. Its boundaries should be explicit. Uncertainty should be routed, not hidden. Clinical judgment should remain with the people qualified and accountable to exercise it.

The best automation is not imposed from outside a workflow. It is built with the people who operate it. It respects the systems already in place, the exceptions that define real work, and the responsibility teams carry for every patient moving through them.

Clinics and hospitals are being asked to serve more people with limited capacity. Administrative work should not consume the time, attention, and expertise that care teams worked so hard to develop.

Our goal is not to make healthcare feel more automated. It is to make it feel more responsive: fewer dead ends, fewer repeated questions, clearer next steps, and more time for the work only people can do.

We are building Inference Health so healthcare teams can spend less time carrying broken processes—and more time moving care forward.
